|Construction is broken up in to the following stages:|
Initial deposit as requested by consultant. Balance of deposit paid prior to site start.
Either concrete slab or stumps/base brickwork.
External and internal wall frames, roof frame and windows.
External cladding or brickwork, roofing material, front and rear doors. Electrical and plumbing rough ins.
Plasterboard walls and ceilings, cornices, architraves, skirtings, kitchen/bathroom/ensuite joinery.
All the finishing touches: tiling, painting, electrical and plumbing fit off are completed, your home is ready now for you to move in.
What we need from you:
1. Meet with a Hamlan Consultant:
Let the consultant help you select a design & specification to suit your wants, needs & budget ~ also ask about land as we have plenty of exclusive blocks to choose from.
2. Estimate of Cost:
Once you have selected a design the consultant will provide a complete estimate of costs including any of your additional requirements.
3. Initial Deposit:
To proceed from here we will require an initial deposit so that your file can progress to drawing stage, soil test, colour selection & contract.
4. Preliminary Plans:
Once complete a set of plans will be sent to you to check over the detail before meeting to discuss with your consultant.
5. Colour selection:
The Fun Part! Have some ideas in mind for when you meet with our colour consultant.
6. Contract Preparation:
You will be given 3 copies of the building contract (Finance, Owner’s & Builder’s) to read over.
6. Contract Return:
We strongly encourage you make an appointment with the consultant to go through the contract and have any questions answered before construction begins!
Once your contract is returned and finance & land ownership in order we can start building ~ our on-site efficiency is often complimented.
9. Move In!
Sooner than you think your home will be ready for you to move into & enjoy.
