The Master Builders Victoria South West Regional Building Awards showcase exceptional craftsmanship and standards of excellence in the residential and commercial construction sectors throughout South West Victoria.

Hamlan’s winning work, the Frank Street Development is a cohesive collection of six unique residences designed for the evolving lifestyles of modern Newtown, Geelong. The development has transformed the tree-lined streetscape of Frank Street. The development’s distinct facades respectfully blend tradition with contemporary architecture. The original site, a 2500sqm block, which was the former site of the Stinton family home and Claremont Nursery, was subdivided into six lots of approximately 400sqm each.

Long dedicated to building homes for local lifestyles and landscapes, the design blends traditional and contemporary urban architecture, with each residence enjoying a unique façade. The northern orientation was the focal point for each design, and the main living areas maximise the northern light. Exterior finishes include standing seam zinc cladding, concrete block, hardwood timber and modern glass balustrades.

All the winners will be showcased in the 2021 Winning Homes Magazine that will be distributed at the State-wide Excellence in Housing Awards at Crown Palladium.
