Commissioned by developer Moremac, we designed and built a block of eight high-end townhouses on a waterfront site in The Point estate, Point Lonsdale. Standing proudly in an idyllic location with a north-facing aspect overlooking serene waterways, this development epitomises luxury living.
Our design approach was tailored to resonate with discerning buyers, often those downsizing and retiring. We struck a perfect balance between contemporary flair and coastal charm, ensuring the facades seamlessly integrated with the local landscape.
The facades boast three prominent gables, each spanning across two townhouses, presenting a proud street appeal befitting their idyllic location. The gable design also creates an inviting sense of internal space, accentuated by raked ceilings.
The carefully chosen colour scheme, both internally and externally, reflects the coastal lifestyle. The facades incorporate a mix of Linea weatherboard, Axon cladding, rendered Hebel, and rendered fine texture cladding. External colours blend natural tones of green, white, and bone, creating a harmonious contrast with the warmth of the timber front door.
The floorplans feature two spacious four-bedroom homes anchoring each end of the development, complemented by six three-bedroom residences. Facades played a crucial role in this project, serving as the first impression for anyone entering The Point Estate. Ensuring the townhouses maintained the prestigious reputation of the estate was paramount for the developer.
Moremac successfully sold each townhouse off the plan, enabling us to work with each buyer to tailor details to their lifestyles, including colour selection, and the addition of lifts and solar panels.
These waterfront townhouses were meticulously designed to offer residents a low-maintenance lifestyle while enjoying retirement in Point Lonsdale. Positioned along the waterway, residents enjoy easy access to picturesque walks and bike rides within the estate.
