Meet The Team

Employing more than 50 permanent staff as well as on site sub-contractors, we use our unrivalled understanding of local lifestyles and landscapes to set the benchmark for innovative housing in the region.

At the helm of Hamlan is General Manager Andrew Carroll, who embodies completely the ideal of ‘young blood, old soul’.

After completing his Bachelor of Building and Bachelor of Construction Management, Andrew began his working career with Hamlan Homes back in 1997.  Gaining experience with several building companies, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge to the General Manager position, having worked in various roles within the construction industry, including Production Estimator, Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Construction and Building Manager.

In 2013, Andrew returned to Hamlan Homes as Building Manager before moving into the role of General Manager after just six months.

Since then, Andrew has overseen a brand facelift, a personnel re-structure and driven Hamlan towards the goal of becoming a diversified builder while remaining loyal to the local community within which it has successfully operated for over 30 years.

Andrew has also worked tirelessly with senior management to develop and instil the core values of Respect, Accountability, Passion, Positivity and Team into the day-to-day business.

Site Team

Heading up the team onsite is Bernie Wiesebrock our building manager. Bernie has been in this role for the last two years and previously worked for Hamlan as a site supervisor back in the late 80s. Bernie is supported by an experienced team of site supervisors who have a wealth of knowledge about construction and the local region.

Design Team

As locals, our design team often reference our Great Ocean Road origins in the homes we build – from view enhancing designs to coastal materials and colour palettes. We focus on infusing architectural flair into our cutting edge designs.
