Hamlan buyers experience floorplans in augmented realityPublished on April 26, 2017
We have now launched our new augmented reality experience, ‘Augment’, a 3D augmented reality application. This exciting technology gives clients the ability to view 2D floorplans as a 3D augmented reality model.
Augmented reality is the integration of digital information with the user’s environment in real time. General Manager Andrew Carroll, said the innovative technology is a great way to present our architecturally designed, premium homes in a way that hasn’t been seen before.
“We are extremely excited to use this technology which will provide clients with a way of visualising our new Aspect range of homes. It gives them a great opportunity to understand and see how spaces within the homes work.”
“Our design team have been working on this for months, making sure the app runs seamlessly with our new aspect brochure and we can’t wait for the public to get the full benefit out of this amazing technology.”
“Augment will help clients visualise a floorplan that we haven’t currently got on display. Sometimes it’s hard for a client to gauge the sense of space in a design or in the case of a split-level floorplan it’s often hard for clients to understand the different levels in the design. These 3D models will help clients conceptualise our designs in an interactive experience”
